Bald Eagle
(also called "fish eagle")

United States national symbol.

Body length 28 to 38 inches; weight 7 to 14 pounds; wingspan 6 feet to 7-1/2 feet.

White head and tail at 5 years.

Lives in North America near large bodies of water such as rivers and lakes.

Favorite food is fish (alive or dead). Will also prey on ducks, geese and rabbits. Will eat carrion (dead animals).
